Characteristics of desk illumination lights include that it consumes only 8 w of electricity and give 120 lux @ 5` distance which is optimum for office work. The light spectrum is cool blight and soothing to eye. Fittings are available for concealed mounting and can be fixed in standard cutouts like 216 mm x 232 mm. Features of these fittings include its elegant looking, compact and only 55 mm thickness. The fittings are available in white, beige or other colour as per the customer`s choice to suit office interior. These models have optional features of inbuilt battery. Model dl-e3-w-230 a also works as emergency light. During normal operation, when mains power is available, the lamps will work normally and the battery inside will get charged. During mains power failure, the lamps will continue to glow without interruption. They will continue to work for 2 hours on the provided internal battery. The battery used is li-ion and has all necessary inbuilt protections like over voltage cut off. The entire unit is compact, elegant and very reliable in operation.
